First Steamed giveaway offer

Steamed
by Katie MacAlister

Winner: Bethie of Political Mom

I would love to see how people get around in a steampunky world.

If you were thrown into a steampunk world, what one steampunky item would you like to see, hear or touch?

Answers received:

aether gun

clockwork man

interest in transportation:

airships
-blimp
-dirigible
-zeppelin

steamboat

Most amusing answer:

I want a decently crafted sword-cane, with a brass handle for a good counterweight and clever construction.

Reasons? I have a few.

1) A Gentleman should never go unarmed.

2) Most sword-canes are of inferior construction and ill-balanced

3) The ornate design Steampunk affords allows for a proper grip, basket, pistol or French-style, which would be incongruous in less... Dignified settings.

4) As a serious fencer, anything less than bespoke weaponry is an insult to my sensibilities.

Regards;
Pip Hunn
